Getting to Livigno

Livigno is about 220Km North of Milan and 200Km South-East from Zurich.

Fly to Alta Valtellina

The closest ariports are: Milano Malpensa, Bergamo Orio al Serio, Innsbruck  (all offering daily shuttle bus service to Livigno by bus during the winter season), and Zurich.

By car:

From Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria regions

all year round: via Bormio and Foscagno Pass. Milan to Lecco/ Colico along the highway SS36 (past lake Como), and then along the main road SS38 which leads directly to Bormio. From there take SS301 through to Foscagno Pass. The trip takes about 4 hours.

Summer months only: via Tirano and Forcola Pass. Milan to Lecco/ Colico along the highway SS36 (past lake Como), and then along the main road SS38 to Tirano. From there cross the Swiss border and continue on to Poschiavo and Forcola Pass. The trip takes about 4 hours.

From Veneto, Emilia, Tuscany regions

motorway A22/ E45, exit Bolzano South and continue to Merano, then SS38/40 direction Resia Pass to Glorenza, take SS41 to Tubre/ Taugers, Swiss boarder, Pass dal Fourn/ Offenpass, tunnel “Munt La Schera” to Livigno. The trip takes about 5 hours.

From Switzerland, Austria, Northern Europe

Via Landeck (A), Scuol (CH), Zernez (CH), Munt La Schera tunnel Via Zurich (CH), Landquart, Kloster, Vereina tunnel, Zernez, Munt La Schera tunnel

By train:

From Italy: Milano Centrale train station to Tirano, then bus to Bormio and then Livigno. The trip takes about 5 hours.

From Northern Europe: train to Zernez (Ratische Bahn, www.rhb.ch) then bus or taxi to Livigno (please contact us for further details)
