A bite-sized taste of Italy
A bite-sized taste of Italy
May, 2020
The arrival of the cooler weather in Sydney means I can’t help but reminisce about my Italian home and the ski-season that was sadly cut short in 2020. It’s certainly been trying times for many, but we’ll be back and I’ll continue to look out for new places for all of you to experience when safe to do so.
Click here to see how the Bormio ski area looked like on the eve of the Italian national lock-down in early March.
Whilst COVID-19 has temporarily stopped our travels, it’s not dampened our spirits.
Many of the operators I work with are dear friends of mine and despite the current challenges, they are working hard behind the scenes to enhance their facilities and welcome guests back.
Over the next few months I’ll continue to publish some bite-sized Alpine inspirations from local recipes, ski tips and tutorials to enjoy until we can hit the Italian slopes once again!
I do hope that you’ll find something of interest to keep your ski dreams alive in the short term.
